Liath Luachra: The Consent
Not all ‘old’ friends are ‘good’ friends!
Ireland: 1st century A.D. A land of tribal affiliations, secret alliances and treacherous rivalries.
Although ‘The Seeking’ is complete, to fulfil her word to the Uí Loinge Elders, Liath Luachra must reconnect with Bressal Binnbéalach – the previous leader of Na Cinéaltaí – and obtain his consent.
But Bressal hasn’t forgotten her actions against him at Dún Mór.
And there’s only one thing she has that Bressal truly wants.
[Note: This is a seperate novella that follows on from Liath Luachra: The Metal Men]

"An excellent addendum to the current books in the Liath Luachra series, this long ‘short story’ outlines what happens when the woman warrior confronts her old ‘boss’ (following the events in The Metal Men).
As usual, O’Sullivan’s tale never goes exactly where you think it’s going to, but as always, it’s far more satisfying for that.”

“A very enjoyable development in the relationship between Liath Luachra and Bressal of the Sweet Tongue. O’Sullivan does a great job of giving nothing away until the criticla moment. As a result, the culminating scenes are tense and quite exciting.”
